About
Healthy Mouth Foundations for Ages 6–14 is a practical, parent-guided program that helps you support your child’s oral health through the school-age and early teen years. You’ll learn what’s normal as adult teeth come in, how to prevent cavities and enamel wear, and how to build daily routines. We'll cover age-appropriate brushing and flossing techniques, what to expect as adult teeth erupt and how to soothe sore gums, managing concerns such as overlapping teeth, choosing the right fluoride products and toothpaste, the benefits of dental sealants, and how snacks and beverages affect oral health. We'll also discuss sports mouthguards and address common concerns such as bad breath, tooth sensitivity, and orthodontic changes. Outcome: By the end of the program, you'll have clear, evidence-based guidance and practical strategies you can implement immediately to protect your child's oral health, smile, and confidence.
